SELMA — The 18 calendar year old going through two counts of capital murder in the taking pictures death of an on-duty Selma police officer shook his head when questioned if he did it.
JaVonte C. Stubbs of Selma, was led into the Dallas County Courthouse Friday morning carrying blaze orange jail garb and a bullet-resistant vest. He was restrained in handcuffs, leg irons and tummy chains. He faces two counts of funds murder in the Tuesday early morning capturing demise of Marquiz Moorer, 25, who was in uniform and on obligation at the time.
